Domestic violence occurs within same-sex relationships with the same frequency as in heterosexual relationships.

All lesbian relationships are not based on "femme, butch" couples.

Homophobia among police often keep lesbian from getting help.

A lesbian relationship can be just as violent as a heterosexual relationship.
